
Joanne Pearson

Paediatrics
Jo has nearly 30 years experience of working with clients with neurological disabilities in a variety of hospital and rehabilitation facilities, including the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, schools and client’s own homes. For the past 13 years she has worked in paediatrics and in 2013 set up her own private practice for the treatment of children with neurological disability. She has a Masters in Neurological Physiotherapy and has undertaken training in report writing and courtroom skills. She is a well-established member of our team, with very extensive experience as an expert witness. She has given evidence in Court.

Holly Garwell

Paediatrics
Holly qualified in 1994 and gained a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2005. She has extensive clinical paediatric experience in both the NHS and private practice and currently co-runs a small paediatric physiotherapy Social Enterprise. She provides physiotherapy for children and young people with a neuro-disability and sensory impairment, including aquatic physiotherapy (hydrotherapy), neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), vibration therapy, setting up therapy programmes and advising on the use of aids and equipment.

Suzanne Pascoe

Paediatrics
Suzanne graduated in 1991 from Queen Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy, Birmingham. She specialised in paediatrics over 20 years ago initially working at Sheffield Children’s Hospital where she gained a broad knowledge base working across respiratory, orthopaedic and neurological specialities. Suzanne then moved to the Middle East working as a paediatric team leader for three years in Saudi Aramco medical services.
On returning to the UK Suzanne gained a senior paediatric post in Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Primary Care Trust community physiotherapy services where she spent eight years assessing and treating children with neurological and orthopaedic conditions in mainstream and special schools, clinics and homes.
Suzanne emigrated to Australia in 2007 and began working as clinical standards officer for a community therapy services organisation based in Perth, Western Australia. Since returning to the UK in 2011 she has been self-employed; providing physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services to children with a wide range of neurological diagnoses and a small client base of orthopaedic conditions. She has undergone medico-legal training and is developing her experience as an expert witness.

Kate Worley

Paediatrics
Kate qualified in 2002 and has gained extensive clinical paediatric experience in both the NHS and private practice, including clinical specialist at the Child Development Centre, Portsmouth. She is now a self-employed paediatric physiotherapist, providing highly specialist physiotherapy and hydrotherapy to children with a wide range of neurological impairments. She has excellent experience as an expert witness.

Hilary Finlay

Paediatrics
Hilary qualified in 1988 from Liverpool University. She is currently a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist in Alder Hey Children’s NHS Trust. She has gained extensive clinical Paediatric experience within the NHS both in the acute and community setting treating and assessing children and young people with neuro-disability, including aquatic physiotherapy (hydrotherapy). She has worked within the Northwest Movement Analysis Centre assessing children and young people with motor disorders prior surgical and other interventions. She leads the team working within special school provision setting up therapy programmes and advising on the use of aids and equipment. Hilary also has a small private practice providing highly specialist treatment for children with neurological impairments across home and school environments. She has completed medico-legal training and is developing her experience as an expert witness.
